Man fined for approaching House of Government with ‘Please, Help’ plate
Minsker Ihar Tselpuhouski has been fined for 10 base amounts (210 roubles) for an unauthorized picket in Independence Square in Minsk. Maskouski District Court judge Tatstsyana Motyl pronounced the sentence on October 31, BelaPAN reports.
The man approached the House of the Government with the plate ‘Please, Help’ on October 15 and 16. He did it because of several unsuccessful attempts to talk to the prosecutor general. His actions were announced ‘a violation of the law on mass actions’. Tselpuhouski has pleaded not guilty because he was in despair since officials were ignoring his problems.
Ihar Tselpuhouski is an unemployed handicapped person of the 2nd disability group. His wife is also handicapped. They have two children. The man is planning to address the President.
