Man run over by jitney at 14th kilometer of Mahileu highway

A man died after he had been run over by a jitney at the 14th kilometer of Mahileu highway yesterday evening. The road accident occurred right on the pedestrian crossing.  The driver of the minibus did not notice the man and dragged him along the road a few meters more after the collision.

The First Channel noted that the victim had no flicker and the lighting of the pedestrian crossing did not function. A criminal case has been started in connection with the death.
