Martynau: Belarus expects European Union to lower visa prices
The Foreign Minister Syarhei Martynau has drawn attention to the fact that Belarus also expected something from the European Union and that the expectations were as important as the demands of the EU at the press conference in Brussels. First of all, it is the visa issue. Our citizens will now have to pay for Schengen visas more than inhabitants of the neighbouring countries. The procedure of getting them is also very long and complicated, noted Syarhei Martynau.
Syarhei Martynau: “Simplification of the visa regime is an evident priority. It is something being in the way of trips to Europe and it means that the difficulties in getting visas should be liquidated”.
According to Martynau, the other important issue is trade relations. Belarus would like to have better opportunities for cooperation with the European Union in this field.
Let us remind you that the head of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affaires met the governing EU 3.
