Masty workers waited for wages for almost a year
Workers of a woodworking plant “Mastoudreu” received only part of their ages in November-December 2008. They had to wait for almost a year to get the rest.
Furthermore, Masty Office of the Public Prosecutor obliged “Mastoudreu” to pay the arrears of wages by March 17, 2009 at the beginning of 2009. However, the plant did not have the money then.
A deputy of Masty District Council Dzmitry Kuhlei received a reply to his appeal where he asked the administration of “Mastoudreu” to explain why workers had not received their money on August 18. According to the administration of the enterprise, the arrears of wages will be paid by September 30, 2009.
