Over the past day, 109 migrants tried to get from the territory of Belarus to Poland outside the checkpoint. They are citizens of India, Iran and Pakistan, according to the Polish Border Guard Service statement. Twenty-seven migrants returned to Belarus after they saw the patrols. But there were also cases of aggression against representatives of the Border Guard Service. Stones and sticks were again thrown at Polish employees. Earlier, Polish border guards said that migrants began to throw burning branches at the patrols.
Recently a referendum was held in Poland, where one of the questions was about the fence on the Polish-Belarusian border. The question was as follows: "Do you support the removal of the wall on the border between the Republic of Poland and the Republic of Belarus? The overwhelming majority of the participants answered "no". However, the results of the referendum are not binding due to the low turnout.
