Mikalai Avtukhovich to serve his prison term in Ivatsevichy
Entrepreneurship activist Mikalai Avtukhovich could be sent to serve his five-year prison term in Ivatsevichy, lawyer and human rights activist Aleh Vouchak told Belapan news agency. Vouchak learned about the colony in Ivatsevichy from the official respond to the letter of Avtukhovich's mother who asked the Department of Corrections to have his son serve the prison term in his home town of Vaukavysk.
According to Vouchak, Avtukhovich can be transferred from a detention center in Minsk to Ivatsevich at any moment.
Vouchak thinks that Avtukhovich and Asipenka have not been transferred to the colony yet, because amnesty possibly could be applied to them.
