Militant Motorola claims to have killed 15 Ukrainian captives (video)
The statement may be considered a proof of war crimes if the recording is authentic.
The head of the militants’ battalion Sparta, Russian Arseniy Pavlov also known as Motorola has claimed to have shot 15 Ukrainian captives dead. He said it in a phone interview with Kyiv Post when commenting on the accusation of the murder of ‘cyborg’ Igor Branovitski, UNIAN reports.
The actions are unlikely to be considered a crime against humanity and it will be difficult to consider them in the International Criminal Court, Ukrainian journalists think. But the statement is part of a huge case and may be considered a proof of war crimes if the recording is authentic.
Motolora openly killed defender of Donetsk Airport Igor Branovitski, Ukrainian mass media reported earlier. His body showing the signs of torture has been found recently.
