Minsk city council bans opposition party from mentioning missing politicians in public
The Minsk City Council denied permission to the United Civic Party to stage a picket in order to mark 10 years since Victor Hanchar and Anatol Krasouski disappeared witout a trace. A written notice reached the office of the opposition party in the morning on Thursday, reports Radio Svaboda. The picket was to take place on September 16 at the crossing of Fabrichnaya Ulitsa and Rabochy Zavulak where Hanchar and Krasouski went missing 10 years ago.
