Minsk police: Over 500 000 people celebrated Chirstianization of Kievan Rus
Festive events to mark 1025 years since Chirstianization of Kieva Rus passed peacefully in Minsk, with no public order violations.
Also, no cases of emergency were recorded, informs the press-office of the Interior Ministry City Administration of Minsk City hall.
The wooden cross that belonged to St. Andrew the First Called stayed in Minsk since July 28 till August 2. Not only Belarusians got to see it, but also believers from Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraine, Russia and other states.
