Minsk student recruites over 70 women for prostitution
The Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case against a 22-year-old woman from Minsk. It is suspected that in the past two years she has involved in prostitution more than 70 girls.
The girl, a student of one of the Minsk universities, along with her mother used the internet to find young girls from Belarus, Ukraine and Russia who were ready to provide sexual services abroad. Then candidates' profiles with photos and a description of the services offered was placed on the web sites. From there, potential customers communicated with the residents of Minsk.
The student negotiated with the client about the cost of services. After that, the girls traveled to Istanbul for work.
By the way, the girls sent the businesslike resident of Minsk and her mother part of their wages through the international payment system. According to investigators, the profit of the organization and use of prostitution services amounted to more than 300 thousand dollars.
Law enforcers have detained the two suspects. During the raid in their home, the police found and seized more than 200 thousand dollars. In addition, the investigation arrested their bank accounts, which stored more than 130 thousand dollars.
