Minsk students forced to act in official film?
They need 5 people from every group, a student of the Economic University said.
A student who did not want to reveal his name said that the BSEU rector had ordered it.
The film Avel describing December 2010 events in the Square will be filmed in the centre of Minsk on February 1 and 2. Students will have to gather in the following places: near the Great Civil War Museum in October Square and near the BSU in Independence Square.
Some students were told that they would have to wave white-red-white flags and shout ‘Live Belarus’.
The university administration claimed to be unaware of it.
The film Avel will show the events in the Square in 2010 and will become an official reply to the Polish film Live Belarus. Mob scenes involving 400 people are appointed for the days mentioned above. The organizers made no secret of the fact that administrative methods would be used to gather people for the crowd scenes.
