There is no information about Belarusian terrorist act victims in Nice, Second Secretary (Consular) of the Belarusian Embassy Illya Kapitan told BELTA. Diplomats keep tracking the situation, he said.
Belarusian blogger Alena Melnikava (Elena Stogova) was not far from the terrorist act spot in Nice. She was not injured.
A truck rammed through a crowd in the quay in Nice on the evening of July 14 (national French holiday). The truck rode about 2 kilometres until the driver was shot by policemen. The French President has called the tragedy a terrorist act. 84 people including foreigners were killed (there was a Russian woman among them).
