No price rises of railway travel in near future in Belarus

Tariffs for passenger transportation will not increase in Belarus in the near future. On April 7, Deputy Prime Minister Anatol Kalinin announced it in his speech. According to him, Alyaksandr Lukashenka wants government to focus on the search for the optimal balance of costs and tariff policy.
As BELTA reports, Kalinin said that they would search for "internal resources".
On Tuesday, the head of state held a meeting on the situation in the transport sector. There wree discussed the existing problems and prospects. Alyaksandr Lukashenka said that the government is not dealing with the problems of transport.
