Norwegian skiers advise Domracheva to try cross country skiing
Belarus' biathlon star Darya Domracheva could be a success in cross-country skiing, two-time Sochi Olympic champion Marit Bjørgen of Norway reckons.
"Domracheva in cross country skiing? It would be excellent. She would be a success. Berger was fourth in cross country skiing last year and Gossner was fourth at the world championship last year too. I think Domracheva would be able to compete for medals,” sport.ru quotes the Norwegian skier.
Therese Johaug is also sure that Domracheva could win medals in cross country skiing.
The Belarusian sportswoman won the mass start at the Sochi Olympics on February 17. She has won three gold medals at these Olympic Games so far – she won the pursuit and individual race earlier.
Domracheva will compete for the Belarusian team in the relay race at 5.30 p.m. FET today.
