Over 1500 members in Statkevich’s nominating group

Over 1500 people have joined Mikalai Statkevich’s initiative group, BelaPAN refers to the political prisoner’s wife Maryna Adamovich.

A joint meeting of representatives of the structures that have joined the election campaign on Mikalai Statkevich’s side was held in Minsk on July 14. It was decided to send the registration documents to the Central Election Commission on July 16. The creation of the initiative group will continue on July 15.

According to Adamovich, each structure has brought at least 200 people to the political prisoner’s initiative group.

Representatives of the Belarusian Social-Democratic Party (People’s Hramada), Belarusian Trade Union of workers of the radio and electronics industry, steering committee of the party Belarusian Christian Democracy, association Young Front registered in the Czech Republic, movement For Belarus’ Statehood and Independence and the solidarity movement Together have joined the single committee that is going to support Mikalai Statkevich at the presidential election.
