Over 6000 attend Be2gether music festival
The Be2gether music festival is pushing on near the Lithuania-Belarus border. Despite floods, people from Belarus andr Lithuania kept coming in to make to the performance of the famous Gogol Bordello. Euroradio correspondent at the festival Mira Shultz reports:
"Over 6000 people are estimated to have arrived at the festival as of yesterday night... Gogol Bordello could not hold a press conference. They came from the US and today they have a huge concert in another country in Europe, so they took off right away. But they performed for two hours, despite the rain... Everyone who are at the festival were near their stage".
Today's performers are Lyapis Trubetskoy of Belarus and a young Belarusian band The Toobes. The list of headliners includes Swedish techno-metal bands CLAWINGER, TOUCH AND GO and POLARKRIES 18.
