Over half of top Lithuanian businessmen work in Belarus
Lithuanian companies have doubled their presence in Belarus over the past year.
18 in 30 richest businessmen from Lithuania have assets in Belarus. They open shops and factories, buy banks, build houses and shopping centers, reports Ezhednevnik.
Brothers Augustinas and Arturas Rakauskas occupy the third place in Top 30 with 825 million litas (about $ 270 mln). They have a network of construction materials and OMA instruments stores in Belarus.
Lidia Lubene occupies the fourth place among the richest Lithuanian businessmen with 805 million litas (about $ 260 mln). Her company is connected with the transit of petrochemical products and fertilizers from Belarus via Lithuania.
