PACE delegation to visit Minsk
A delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe led by the head of the PACE Political Affairs Committee Göran Lindblad will visit Belarus. The visit is planned for February 16-19. It will be part of the preparation of the PACE Political Affairs Committee report about the situation in Belarus.
The visit will include meetings in both chambers of the National Assembly, President’s Administration, Supreme and Constitutional Courts, General Office of Public prosecutor, Ministry of Internal Affaires, Ministers of Education, Information, Justice and meetings with teachers and students of Belarusian State University.
"Interfax" reports that the head of the sub-committee on Belarus Sinikka Hurskainen and a reporter on Belarus Andrea Rigoni will join the PACE delegation.
