Parting with musician Henadz Starykau in Minsk
The well-known guitarist died on Saturday.
Well-known Belarusian musician Henadz Starykau suddenly died at the age of 65 on March 21. The mourning ceremony will start at 2 p.m. today. It will be held in Syamashka Street, 8/5 in Minsk. Henadz Starykau will be buried in the Western Cemetery today.
Henadz Starykau was born in Minsk in 1950. He was a member of a few Minsk bands in the middle of the 1960s: 2+2, Algoritmy, Charodei, Fakiry, Chary. He joined Verasy in 1978. Starykau founded Star-Club in 1995 - an informal association of musicians and blues amateurs and organized the festival Blues lives in Minsk.
