Parting with Pyotr Martsau in Minsk
The journalist and independent publisher dies at the age of 53 two and a half weeks after acute leukemia diagnosis .
Pyotr Martsau had been an independent publisher since the beginning of the 1990s: he owned the popular newspaper Belorusskaya Delovaya Gazeta and the weekly Imya. His recent activities were connected with advertising, building and oil businesses. Martsau was head of the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Studies.
The parting ceremony will be organized on Monday, September 15. It will be held in the ritual hall in Alsheuski Street, 12 in Minsk from 12 p.m. till 15 p.m.
