Pavel Sheremet to be buried in Minsk on Saturday
Pavel Sheremet will be buried in Minsk on Saturday, July 23, journalist Svyatlana Kalinkina wrote on Facebook.
“Pavel’s mother has presented the information. The parting in Kiev will be organized tomorrow. Pasha will be brought to Minsk by plane in the evening. He will be buried on Saturday,” she wrote.
Well-known Belarusian journalist Pavel Sheremet was killed in Kiev on Wednesday morning. A car bomb went off under his seat. Sheremet left home in Franka Street at 7.40 a.m. and reached an intersection. Then the car exploded: there was a clap and the car caught fire.
Ukrainian investigators are considering six versions of the murder including personal hostility and ‘a Russian trace’.
