Parting with Ryhor Baradulin in Minsk Red Catholic Church (photo)
The People’s Poet of Belarus will be buried near his mother in Ushachy.
Ryhor Baradulin died at the age of 79 on March 2.
The parting ceremony in the Red Catholic Church.
The ceremony began at 9.30 a.m. and ended at 1 p.m.
Hundreds of people including well-known writers and politicians came to bid farewell to the People’s Poet.
Two masses were served in church – Roman Catholic and Uniate.
Ryhor Baradyulin will be buried near his mother in Ushachy on March 4.
