"Perspective": Many entrepreneurs will suspend working since July 2

According to the information provided by activist of the Republican public association "Perspective" Vyachaslau Pilipuk, the entrepreneurs of the shopping centers and markets in Minsk, Vitsebsk, Hrodna, Homel, Slonim, Pinsk and Svetlahorsk are going to suspend working. Meanwhile, individual entrepreneurs from Baranavichy suspended working already since July 1 and organized a spontaneous demonstration near the office of the city tax inspectorate.

Also, the Belarusian entrepreneurs continue to submit "zero tax declarations", which confirm no movement of finance on their accounts, tot he tax inspectorates. "The situation won't change until the Belarusian authorities consider the entrepreneurs' interests legally," BelaPAN quotes as Pilipuk says.

"Perspective" filed an application to hold an entrepreneurs rally and a demonstration on July 15 in Minsk, to Minsk city executive committee.
 

The entrepreneurs want the authorities to cancel the regulation on simplification of the procedure of the goods certification and let the individual entrepreneurs work with no accompanying documents within a year. The mentioned regulation was signed by a series of institutions on June 21. According to the document, the procedure of the goods certification in accordance with the Customs Union technical requirements was simplified for the entrepreneurs who pay the single tax. The entrepreneurs are supposed to submit the accompanying documentation for their goods. However, the Belarusian legislation freed the entrepreneurs from having such documentation so this regulation doesn't solve their problems in any way.

On Tuesday, July 2, leader of the entrepreneurs Anatol Shumchanka, detained on June 27 on the day of the warning strike and sentenced to 5 days of the administrative detention for "holding a non-sanctioned event", should be released.
