Belarus-born protester shot with Makarov pistol in Kiev
Mikola Karpyuk, one of the leaders of UNA-UNSO, has confirmed the death of Mihail Zhyzneuski during the clashes with the police.
Zhyzneuski’s nickname in the organization was Loki and he called himself Alyaksei, Karpyuk told Radio Liberty.
According to Karpyuk, Zhyzneuski was a Belarusian who lived in Ukraine. Zhyzneuski was from Homel. He lived in Belaya Tserkov, Ukraine. He probably left Belarus for political reasons.
"They shot at him from a Makarov pistol. They targeted him on purpose. Two people were killed by snipers and a cop shot at him from a PM. He died instantly. The bullet hit him in the heart,” Karpyuk said.
