Poland cancels 'visa regionalization' for Belarusians
Belarus citizens will be allowed to apply for Poland visa at any consular point regardless of residence location, effective from 1 December.
Poland will cancel "visa regionalization" for Belarusians. Even today Hrodna citizens living in Minsk must apply for a visa at the Polish Consulate in the place of registration. The situation made things more complex: it's wasted time, money and extra travel expenses.
According to the website of the Polish Embassy in Minsk, "from 1 December, 2014 consular offices of the Republic of Poland in Belarus will accept and consider visa applications of Belarus citizens without any restrictions associated with the territory division into the consular districts".
It means that the citizens of Belarus will be able to apply for a visa at any regional office of the Polish consulate in our country.
