Poland to relocate Soviet war memorial
The Polish town of Katowice will relocate the monument to the Soviet soldiers that fought Nazis during the WWII. Russia has reportedly agreed for this measure.
The city officials told reporters that the they were convinced that the town's downtown Freedom Square should be instead offered to a monument "in memory of those who truly fought for the independence of Poland".
