A 20-year-old woman was injured when a police van slammed into a crowd of spectators during the skill show-off performance by police commandos.
Information about the accident was reported by witnesses to TUT.by hot-line in the afternoon on June 29. During the performance by police commandos during the City Day celebrations in Babrujsk, a police van rammed the crowd, hitting a 20-year-old girl. She suffered leg fracture and was rushed by an ambulance to a local hospital. No other injuries have been reported.
The Babrujsk City Police Department told TUT.by they were not in the position to share the details of the accident and advised the journalists to contact the press office on Monday. The local hospital confirmed that the girl hit by the police van was admitted to the surgery ward in a serious condition.
