Poroshenko: Agreement reached to release pilot Savchenko
Negotiations of the Normandy format leaders of Germany, France, Ukraine and Russia came to an end on the morning of December 12, in Minsk.
According to the results of the Minsk talks, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that an agreement was reached to release in the near future Ukrainian pilots Nadezhda Savchenko, who is in the Russian prison and has long been on a hunger strike.
According to Poroshenko, the contact group in Minsk agreed on the release of all the hostages in Donbas in the next 19 days. Also there is an agreement on the withdrawal of all foreign troops from the Ukrainian territory. Hromadske TV reported that Ukraine should regain control of the borders by the end of 2015.
According to Vladimir Putin, starting from 00:00 hours on February 15 there will be a ceasefire in Donbas.
