Portraits of Alexievich, Hienijuš and Euphrosyne of Polotsk appear in Minsk
Posters ‘Belarusians setting example for the world’ appeared in the centre of Minsk on March 8. They contained information about famous and successful women – Euphrosyne of Polotsk, Belarusian Jeanne d-Arc Emilia Plater, scientist Sofia Kovalevskaya, poetess Larysa Hienijuš, swimmer Alyaksandra Herasimenya, biathlete Darya Domracheva, actress Scarlett Johansson and Nobel Prize laureate Svetlana Alexievich.
Civil activists from Alternativa and Revival DJs and congratulated Belarusian women on March 8 that way.
