Power still down in over 300 settlements in Belarus
313 Belarusian settlements are still left without power supply after the cyclone Daniella, the Ministry for Emergency reported at 6 a.m. on January 13. Most of the settlements are villages with the population of up to 50 people.
As of 5 p.m., power lines were destroyed by the snowstorm and left 757 settlements and 136 agricultural objects without electricity.
Electric generators had to be used at 21 agricultural objects on e secondary school and hospital.
Most of the settlements are stated in Hlybokaye, Asipovichy, Klichau, Kirau and Babruisk Districts of Mahilyou Province and in Slutsk and Staryya Darohi Districts of Minsk Province.
11 patients were evacuated from Lapichy hospital (Asipovichy Disatcrt) to the district centre.
