No permission for pro-Lukashenka picket in Mahilou
Authorities prevent a group of citizens from showing support to the president over the freeloaders tax and nominating him for the Nobel Peace Prize.
Mahilyou authorities have not allowed a picket in support of Alyaksandr Lukashenka, civil activist Alyaksei Paulouski reports. 44 inhabitants of Mahilyou initiated the picket, he noted.
The activists were going to support the freeloaders tax, ‘Lukashenka’s fifth term of presidency’ and nominate the Belarusian leader for the Nobel Peace Prize for helping stop the conflict in Ukraine.
The picket was to be held in Lenin Square in the centre of the city but officials said that such pickets could only be held in the stadium Himik in the outskirts of Mahilyou.
