Pro-Russia action in Donetsk: buildings seized again (video)
Separatists have hoisted Russian and forbidden ‘Donetsk Republic’ flags in the building belonging to the regional administration.
About 2 thousand protesters gathered in Lenin Square in the centre of Donetsk on April 6, UNIAN reports. They claimed that it was necessary to federalize Ukraine and that Donetsk Oblast had to secede from the unitary state.
People were holding Russian fags and shouting out pro-Russia mottoes. Then they headed for the building of Donetsk Oblast Administration, attacked the policemen guarding the building and took away a few of their shields. A group of separatists rushed inside. Russian flags were hoisted on the building later.
A separatist action accompanied by mass riots has also been organized in Donetsk: protesters seized the building of the Ukrainian Security Service there.
