Putin phoned Lukashenka on May 5
The Belarusian and Russian Presidents discussed ‘a wide range of bilateral cooperation issues’.
"The issues will be discussed by the governments of both states at a high level”, BELTA quotes Lukashenka.
It is not clear if the situation in Ukraine was discussed. Our southern neighbours still expect Russia’s aggression. They are strengthening their borders and getting ready to defend Kiev.
