Ramanchuk: Europe may give Belarus €20-30 million while it needs $8 billion
The Belarusian government is looking for credits to support the economy during the crisis. There are also some expectations about the today’s meeting of the Belarusian Foreign Minister Syarhei Martynau with the administration of the European Union.
An economist Yaraslau Ramanchuk does not exclude that Europe may become our “donor” after the International Monetary Fund, World Bank and Russia.
Yaraslau Ramanchuk: “European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the World Bank may give some money and 20-30 million euro may be received from the European Union”.
However, Belarus needs about 8 billion dollars now and nobody will allocate this sum, thinks Ramanchuk.
