Barysau BATE makes it to group stage of Champions League!
Victar Hancharenka’s team defeated Sturm in Graz on Wednesday evening – 2:0. The draw will take place on Thursday and we will know who will be BATE’s next rivals. (VISEO OF GOALS ADDED)
The play-off mach of the Champions League (local Sturm – Barysau BATE) was played in Graz on Wednesday. Our team won – 2:0. Alyaksandr Valadzko scored a goal from about 25 metres away during the 36th minute and Marko Simić scored a goal during the 69th minute. Let us note that the goal Simić scored with the help of his head after Dzmitry Baha’s pass was an exact copy of the goal scored in Sturm’s gate in Minsk.
Let us remind you that the first match ended in a tie – 1:1. Thus, BATE will play in the group stage of the Champions League!
