Belarusians of Warsaw picket OSCE (photo)
The Office for a Democratic Belarus have organized an action in the Polish capital today, on July 16.
The reason for it was the arrival of "blacklisted" Lidziya Yarmoshyna in Vienna.
The picketers have managed to talk to OSCE spokesman Thomas Rymer during the action. However, nobody wanted to leave the building to talk to the Belarusian activists at first. Only when OSCE representatives were informed that the action would last the whole day, Rymer went out. His conversation with the Belarusian activists took about 30 minutes.
Members of the Office for a Democratic Belarus described the situation in Belarus to Rymer and presented an appeal to the OSCE to him. They asked the international organization not to invite Belarusian officials to the EU if they are forbidden to enter it. Rymer promised to present the picketers' demands to the heads.
Let us remind you that CEC chairperson Lidizya Yarmoshyna took part in the OSCE conference "Democratic Elections and Election Observation" in Vienna on July 12.
