Blast at spirits plant in Vitsebsk Province

Rescuers were called at 2.12 p.m. on Wednesday. It turned out that a fire had started in the ground floor of the five-storey building.

A metallic container filled with fusel spirit exploded in the rectification department. The technical equipment - 3 columns and 4 containers were not damaged.

However, people were injured. There women and a man were taken to Pastavy District hospital.

The reason for the explosion is being investigated now.
