Dzemidzenka: We'll come to Academy of Sciences but not to Bangalore Square
The "Young Front" Vice-Chairman has commented the information about the opposition's disunity in Freedom Day celebration live on air to Euroradio.
According to Mikalaj Dzemidzenka's words,
this year the "Young Front" (registered in Czech Republic) wasn't
invited to the session of the steering committee, which decided to conduct a
rally from the Academy of Sciences to the Bangalore Square on March 25. The
"Young Front" activists disagree with such scenario of celebration of
the declaration of the Belarusian People's Republic's state independence.
Dzemidzenka
predicts that few people will go to Bangalore. "We need new ideas for
actions", - he says. The "Young Front" activists will go to the
Academy of Sciences and then they will celebrate the Freedom Day in their own
way. They are still discussing the format of the action and whether they will
file an application to the Minsk city executive committee.
Mikalaj Dzemidzenka
says that he does not fear that the "Young Front" will bring disunity
to the opposition by its actions. "We will do our best to meet the
people's moods, and we will call the people to come where they want to come
themselves", he said.
