KGB publishes Mihalevich’s letter to Lukashenka
The KGB information and public relations centre has published extracts from Ales Mihalevich’s letter to Lukashenka is response to his announcement about
tortures.
Mihalevich writes that he “did not say anything bad about You, Your relatives and friends”. He regretted that “there was a conflict and that many people suffered”, he is asking “to control my further fate personally”.
KGB has published a photo copy of the letter in its website and stated that that the decision about “the indulgence” was also taken into account when investigators took the decision to change Mihalevich’s measure of restraint.
KGB recapitulates: "A.Mihalevich’s statement about confidential relations with state security bodies and “tortures” in the detention centre do not represent the facts and the information distributed in connection with it is calumniatory”.
