Large-scale fire extinguished in Nyamiha district in Minsk (photo, video)
The roof of the building which appeared instead of the demolished houses in the Revolutionary Street set on fire. The fire covered about 500 square meters.
According to the information provided by the web-site onliner.by, the fire started at about 4 a.m. on Sunday. Local inhabitants called the fire rescuers. 12 automobiles of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the incident site. The fire was extinguished in an hour and a half and the flame did not spread to the neighbouring buildings dated middle XIX century.
No casualties have been reported, the reasons for the fire are being clarified.
Journalists of the STV TV-channel found out on Sunday that everyone could easily get to the construction site. However, unknown young people who did not introduce themselves forced the journalists out of there soon.
