Police expect that "the next revolution will be a TikTok revolution". Major General Henadz Kazakevich, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Belarus, head of the criminal police, spoke about it on the air of STV TV channel.

"And it's not so harmless," he said. "For example, a year ago in the Russian Federation, on a click in TikTok, 40,000 young people took to the streets and fought with riot police...Boys and girls aged 14 and up. In other words, that was technology in action".

The general stresses that "artificial intelligence, neural networks" are being used "to carry out the revolution". "You can only counter technology with technology," he adds.

The Belarusian Interior Ministry is already preparing for the presidential elections in 2025. "Any destructive behavior, any extremist or terrorist manifestations begin in the minds. Realizing this, we are actively working in this direction," said Kazakevich about the repression that does not stop in Belarus.
