Leanid Zaika: "We don't need to take any money from IMF!"
In the economist's opinion, the Belarusian economy may survive only if it starts struggling for itself.
Economist Leanid Zaika has commented upon the departure of the IMF mission from Belarus and criticized the wish of the Belarusian government to obtain another credit from this organization.
“Belarus doesn't need to take any money now. No credits, neither from IMF, nor from Kremlin. Belarus does not need dollars now. Belarus needs new brains and new people in the government. Secondly, Belarus needs professionals. And then, Belarus needs to develop its economy basing on its own opportunities”.
More Leanid Zaika's comments on the IMF's mission's visit to Minsk and the capacity of the Belarusian government to fight inflation will soon be available on air and at the web-page of Euroradio.
