Mahilyou band presents song about terrorist act (+audio)
The Mahilyou band John Doe has uploaded a song dedicated to victims of the terrorist act on the anniversary of the tragedy.
"The text was written quickly. The guys joined in. There is nothing to be happy about, but how can you express it? No one will hear me if I say it. We just wanted to reason. You should listen to it, everyone can find something for themselves there. I will not comment on the contents. When it happened, (terrorist act in the metro - Euroradio), we wrote a song a bit later”, - says frontman of John Doe Dzyanis Astapau.
The song “Stone” was one of the first songs composed by John Doe – the band was created only a year ago. Ex-members of “Dungeon Children” and a member of MAUZER are in this band now. Euroradio discovered John Doe during the recent joint concert action organized together with 34mag.
“The band’s name was invented by Sasha, our bass player. Nobody knows about us, we are not presidents or politicians. John Doe is an ordinary person – Ivan Ivanou”, - says guitarist Yahor. Another reason for the band’s name is the fact that we do not know the music of what style we play. There are music and lyrics and their make a song. It does not matter what style it is”.
The musicians did not manage to explain what style it was. Euroradio cannot decide either. It is up to you to judge.
