Metro blast victims’ evidence to be read out in court
Videos taken in the carriages damaged in the explosion were demonstrated at the previous hearing.
Case papers containing interrogations of victims were also read out.
The hearing of Kavalyou and Kanavalau’s case will be resumed at the Law Courts on October 4. The prosecution is expected to continue reading out the victims’ evidence. The majority of them are not taking part in the hearing. They wrote appeals and asked to read their evidence out in their absence earlier.
According to lawyers, the metro blast trial will continue for many weeks. There are 550 volumes of case papers. Several hundred people are considered to be victims.
