More detentions in Mahileu
The "Young Front" activists Valiantsin Labachou and Dzmitry Pasrednikau have been detained in Soviet Square in Mahileu.
Leaders of Mahileu opposition Zmitser Salaueu, Ales Silkou and a BelaPAN journalist Uladzimir Laptsevich were detained earlier in the Square of Stars near "Radzima" cinema.
Salaueu's wife Nadzeya has informed to Euroradio, that "a group of policemen approached us saying "Come with us". The people were just standing there with flowers, they were doing nothing, and naturally, refused to "come with them". Then they caught my husband by the arms and legs and simply carried him somewhere. Passers-by were screaming "What are you doing!", our daughter was crying...".
The Free Trade Union's deputy head Jury Novikau and the activist Uladzimir Novikau were detained an hour before in Mahileu.
