Pavel Vinahradau gets 12 days of detention for "illegal picketing"
The Central district court of Minsk considered hoisting of Mikalaj Statkevich's portrait illegal picketing.
Pavel
Vinahradau's wife Svyatlana has informed this to Euroradio.
Svyatlana: "They considered hoisting of the
poster illegal picketing. Pavel admitted that he did it but it wasn't
picketing. There were no witnesses, just a video record and photos".
Vinahradau's colleagues from the "Tell the Truth" campaign Syarhei Vaznyak and Yury Salodki were not
admitted to the court hall, the judge only let the activist's wife in.
On Sunday, April 21 activists of the "Tell the Truth" youth branch
hoisted Mikalaj Statkevich's portrait and the white-red-white flag near the
entrance to the "Nyamiha" metro station.
