“Silent Wednesday” detainee may be fired
Aleh Kraiko, a loader from “Palimir” plant, has been summoned by the head of his workshop today.
His boss, Alyaksandr Muryhin, has forced him to sign the statement that he will not take part in “silent protests” anymore. However, he has warned him that Aleh Zhabin, the director of the plant, will insist on his dismissal anyway.
Aleh Kraiko was detained at the “silent” action on July 13. Navapolatsk Court fined him on Friday. Syarhei Bryku, deputy director of the ideology department, conducted a meeting dedicated to the problem of “silent” workers on the same day.
