Riot policemen survive knife attack; 3 suspects detained in Mahilou
Mahilou's Investigatory Committee is probing the incident in which three members of the police force were attacked with a knife by local men.
The riot policemen were not at work and were having a rest at the moment of the attack, official representative of Mahilou Province Investigatory Committee Aksana Salyanyuk told Interfax-West.
A conflict occurred between three riot policemen and 3 Mahilou inhabitants. Three local men have been detained on suspicion of stabbing people with a knife.
Two riot policemen are in hospital and the third one has been discharged after receiving medical assistance.
