Rosneft president denies buying Uralkali shares
Igor Sechin claims Rosneft not interested in potash business.
President of Rosneft Igor Sechin has made this statement, RBC reports. The media reports suggested earlier the oil corporation was interested in buying Suleiman Kerimov's share in Uralkali. The sale of nearly 20% of Uralkali shares was discussed in connection with the conflict between the company and the Belarusian government.
The Investigatory Committee of Belarus started a criminal case against Uralkali bosses and key shareholder Suleiman Kerimov. The company's CEO is being held in a KGB prison in Minsk.
