Uralkali ex-CEO Vladislav Baumgertner released
The ex-CEO of Uralkali was released about two weeks ago although his house arrest term has been prolonged recently.
Uralkali CEO Dmitri Osipov told it to The Wall Street Journal in the interview published this Wednesday, tut.by reports. According to Osipov, Baumgertner was released in Moscow two weeks ago. He met his predecessor, he said. It is too early to say whether Baumgertner may return to the company now, Osipov added.
Uralkali has refused to comment on it. By the way, the criminal case started against Baumgertner, former co-owner of Uralkali Suleiman Kerimov and four ex-employees of the Belarusian Potash Company was sent to the Russian Prosecutor General's Office back on September 11. Baumgertner was under house arrest in Moscow. His arrest term was prolonged until October 14.
Our Prosecutor General's Office has nothing to do with this case now, they replied:
Press service of the Prosecutor General's Office: "It is up to Russians now. They do not have to make account in Belarus for it.”
